Tahini And Date Syrup Affogato
If you've never tried the combination of tahini with date syrup, let me tell you that it's the most decadent, indulgent, caramely drizzle that's ever existed. Creamy, nutty, perfectly balanced sweetness.
Ingredients
- 1 shot of espresso (or the equivalent of strongly brewed coffee)
- 3 scoops of vegan vanilla ice cream (I love Booja Booja and Judes)
- 1-2 tbsp runny tahini (Belazu and Al Nakhil are my favourites)
- 1-3 tsp date syrup
- A sprinkle of Maldon Salt
Instructions
- Pour the coffee into a martini or cocktail glass.
- Add the ice cream scoops into the glass and top with a good drizzle of tahini and date syrup. Finish with a sprinkle of salt.
